Zen means relaxed and not worrying about things that you cannot change.  People stress over the things that are not even in their hands. They get panicked , get anxiety attacks if things does not go in their desired ways. To overcome this restlessness,  to achieve the pure enlightenment zen is the only way out.

How to practice zen?  
Meditation can be yardstick to Destress. To begin practicing  zen meditation, find a comfortable place and position. You need to try short sessions of meditation on first place because meditation is not that easy.  There are ample of positive and negative (majorly negative) thoughts that keeps on. Coming and going to our mind. So it's important to gain control over those thoughts and make your mind empty.  

  1. Get yourself into a stable position  relaxing place .
It is always important to practice meditation in a very relaxing place which is free of distractions.  Try to create a relaxing environment around yourself. Use objects like sea shells, stones, or flowers, other people enjoy lighting candle.  So gather objects that you find soothing to create right space to meditate. Try to sit in lotus position.
    2. Position your head in a comfortable    position
The positioning of your head is important for zen meditation as it's  vital you do not do anything to strain your body. Hold your head in a position that feels natural and does not cause strain in your neck . Give bit of massage to your chin if you feel strained.  
 
   3. Breathe  through your nose and focus on the breathe.
With zen meditation much focus is on the breathe,  it's important to breathe through your nose.Nasal breaths create a cooling and warming sensation as you breathe in and out.
One must focus upon his breathe as much as possible.  Pay attention to in and out Rhythm Of the breathing sound. This will help you calm your mind which is very important in zen mode.  

    4. Decide what to do with your eyes.
  You can keep your eyes open or half open or you can shut them down completely.  If you keep your eyes open, try to focus on one single point in the room, this will help you concentrate.  Do whatever your eyes fell natural and soothing in.

   5. Start with 2 minutes of meditation.
Zen meditation tale efforts,  if you will try to meditate for too long too soon,  you may find difficult to focus upon your breathing. Therefore start with 2 minutes and then increase the time slowly and steadily.  

   6. Easing into routine.
Make it a routine,  a habit, be regular in your zen meditation if you want to achieve the inner peace.

   7. Zafu

  8.  Zen games
There are various zen games available online and offline too.  Those games helps you to calm your mind and makes you feel like you are sitting in your desired environment . You can practice zen via these games too.
