BRING ME BACK!

The poem is about a girl who was very courageous but one incident of her life changed everything. That incident transformed her into a person she never was. The demons (negative thoughts) inside her were breaking her down but somehow she managed to win over those demons by sharing her thoughts with the people around. It was difficult for her yet she made through it giving everyone the important message- Share your demons with someone.

It was the day, that changed every single way
The way she smiled,
The way she cried,
The way she loved,
The way she cared,
The way she was,
Was now lost.

She was always the one who loved to talk,
She was the one who would laugh a lot,
She was someone who was bold enough,
She was the one who use to scold everyone,
Her personality was bubbly,
Her voice was strong,
Something happened,
And everything was gone.

She was a fighter,
She was fierce,
She was that dominating head,
None shit who beared.

What happened that day, that she changed her way.
What happened that day, that she tried to kill herself in a very brutal way.

Glass pieces on the ground,
Rubbing her foot round and round.

That blade in her hand,
Pressing it tight to cut those bands.
High on pills,
Thinking they might kill,
Kill her pain,
Kill her guilt,
Kill her thoughts,
Kill everything that she got.

Her head was numb,
Her body was numb,
Nothing affected her,
It seemed like she was done.

Done with the people around,
Done with the thoughts that surround,
Done with all the help,
Done with herself.

She was alone,
In that dome.
Where it was all dark,
And there was nothing that would pass a remark.

The crowd scares her,
The people taunt her,
Those faces remind her,
And their voices haunt her.

She was alive but dead,
She had much more in her head.
She had lost, Everything on her cost.
But she want to live her life,
Without these thoughts.

Don't leave her alone,
In that dome.
It's dark inside,
She don't want to hide.

Pull me out,
She tried to shout.

Heard by someone,
Whom she didn't consider anyone.

Spoke her mind,
And all the thoughts that were lined,
It was then,
When ray of light was seen behind the blind.

The girl who was dead, inside out
Shared every single thought with him in that walkabout.
She felt light,
And thought that life was getting bright,
It was him who brought her out of that sight.

It took her a lot to say her thoughts,
But she was happy now as she was out from the place where she was caught.......

Maternal Depression And Child Development

Moms who are depressed often suffer in silence -- but this common illness can also take a heavy toll on their children. That's why getting treated has become an eternal part. Millions of children are caught in the web of maternal depression. As many as one in four women will suffer from this biological illness at some point in her lifetime, including about 10 percent of new mothers who develop postpartum depression (PPD) . Not only is a child with a depressed parent two to four times more likely to develop depression himself before adulthood, but extensive research has shown that a mother's depression, especially when untreated, can interfere with her child's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Helpless and Hopeless People who've been depressed say that it's almost impossible to explain what it feels like. "You become unbearably miserable, lethargic, and incapable of any joy or enthusiasm," says Anne Sheffield, author of Sorr
